| About: | Dr Rashmi Singh (M.Sc., PhD) is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida. Her area of research and interest are Nearness-like structures and Near set theory, soft set theory, rough set theory, fuzzy subset theory and general topology. Her Doctorate degree is in "Merotopic Structures in Fuzzy Subset Theory" from the University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has been teaching both postgraduate and undergraduate students for last 18 years and has been involved in research since 2001. She also worked as a research assistant at Allahabad Mathematical Society for three years, from 2002 to 05. She is a member of various Professional bodies such as the American Mathematical Society, ISCA, Allahabad Mathematical Society and many other societies of Mathematical sciences. Currently, the proposer is studying near Structures in soft set theory and has published 20-plus research articles in various National and International Journals. She has supervised more than 30 Masters and undergraduate students. She is recognised as Editor and Reviewer for various referred and peer-reviewed National and International Journals. She is a recognised Research Supervisor and supervised one PhD scholar, and one is pursuing under her guidance. She has been conferred with "Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Gold Medal Award" and represented Amity University Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of 54th National Unity Conference held at Chennai on June 23, 2018 for national economic growth through individual contribution. |
