| About: | Dr. Dilkeshwar Prasad is a geographer, researcher and teacher with deep knowledge in geoinformatics, environmental studies and urban geography. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Ranchi University, where his research focused on urbanization in Medininagar. He has also completed postgraduate degrees in Geography, Education and Journalism & Mass Communication, along with a B.Ed. degree. He is a qualified UGC NET scholar in Geography and has cleared several national and state-level teaching examinations. Dr. Prasad has more than nine years of teaching and research experience and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Radha Govind University, Ramgarh. His research interests include remote sensing, GIS, climate change, wind energy potential and sustainable urban development. He is an active life member of professional bodies such as the Indian National Cartography Association (INCA), the National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI) and the Association of Geographers Bihar & Jharkhand (AGBJ). Dr. Prasad has published several books and research papers in reputed journals. He has been honoured with awards including the Young Researcher Award (2025) and Best Paper Award for his work in geography and sustainability. He is also engaged in environmental awareness and education for sustainable development. |
