| About: | MR.R.A. MANOJ KUMAR a geographer and an educationalist as well. Who did his bachelor of science in government college of arts and science, Coimbatore. And did his Master of science at Madras university followed by Master of philosophy at Bharathidasan university, Trichy. Again, he pursued his M Tech IN GEO HYDRO INFORMATICS USING GIS at Bharathidasan university, Trichy. He did many live projects in the field of Geography and Remote Sensing like Rainfall deviation in Erode district, Drinking water supply and its problems along with Coimbatore Corporation and also many challenging projects such as Changing detection of Pollachi town. He did a case study on Flood mapping at central Chennai using Remote sensing and GIS. He made an over view of Parambikulam Aliyar project He attended many national and international conference, webinars etc in the topics of Recent trends on industrial application of composite materials conducted by PARK INSTITUTIONS and “Biodiversity and climate change” by V.O. CHIDABARAM College. And also, national level webinars like “Space technology & ISRO”, “Vertical gardening a smart way of agriculture for smart cities”, “Geo informatics for land and water management”. Not only in his core subjects but also, he attended many national level webinars regarding social cause also which include “success in life and you can design your life”, “Theories of child development”. He completed many courses like “Remote sensing and GIS and application for university teacher and government officials” by ISRO, “Advances in remote sensing techniques for geological applications” by IIRS. He is a life member of National Environment Science Academy, New Delhi. He has total experience of 20 years as educationalist and industrialist in his career. He was in different positions in his career like Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor etc. |
