| About: | I am a Principal Engineer at VMware/Broadcom with 14 years of research and development experience in distributed systems, cloud computing architectures, and large-scale platform engineering. My work focuses on advancing cloud-native technologies, particularly in Kubernetes orchestration, microservices architecture, and enterprise-scale infrastructure systems. My research interests center on distributed systems design, container orchestration at scale, and cloud-agnostic platform architectures. I have investigated and implemented solutions for critical challenges in lifecycle management of microservices in airgapped environments, stateful application management in on-premises Kubernetes clusters, and zero-downtime migration strategies for production AI streaming platforms. Through this work, I have developed novel approaches to GitOps-based orchestration and persistent volume management using custom Kubernetes Operators implemented in Golang. My technical investigations span multiple domains including network virtualization, software-defined networking, and telecommunications infrastructure. I have contributed to the development and validation of VMware NSXs distributed firewall and network virtualization platforms, designing distributed testing frameworks that simulate enterprise-scale virtual data centers. More recently, my work has focused on streaming analytics pipelines, exploring operational challenges in large-scale Cassandra deployments with dynamic data retention policies and high-availability requirements. I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (2013) and a Bachelors degree in Information Sciences from RV College of Engineering, India (2009).
