| About: | Professor (Dr) Silpi Chanda is a dedicated professional with more than 16 years of experience in the field of Pharmacy. Currently she is associated with Amity University Lucknow Campus, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr Silpi holds PhD degree from Jaypee University of Information Technology, India (2015). She specializes in standardization of herbal drugs and evaluation of their biological properties. Her research primarily focuses on the ethnomedicinal evaluation of herbals plants. She has written numerous book chapters and over 30 research articles that have been published in esteemed journals. A dedicated mentor, Dr. Chanda guides graduate and postgraduate students, currently overseeing several PhD candidates. Her passion for education and research inspires colleagues and students alike, underscoring her impactful contributions to the field. she enjoys traveling and an avid artist. Looking ahead Dr Silpi aspires to continue her work in the evaluation of unexplored natural product of India.
