| About: | Dr. Khwaja M Rafi is a Director and Professor of Mewat Engineering College, Nuh, Haryana. He has 22+ years Professional experience including Teaching, Industry, Research and Training. He has completed B.Tech and Ph.D from India`s renowned Central University Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Masters (M.Tech) from Globally acclaimed Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Dr Rafi has expertise in control systems, renewable energy resources, biomass energy systems and corresponding fields. His research interest is in Hybrid Renewable Energy systems and he has developed a model by which 95% pure Methane gas can be generated which in turn can be used to generate electricity or as fuel. A patent has been awarded in his name in Dec 2019 and the topic of patent is ANAEROBIC DIGESTER FOR EFFICIENT METHANE PRODUCTION USING KITCHEN WASTE. Dr Rafi has a very wide experience in academics as well as in administration. He had been heading institutions in Delhi, Haryana, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and contributed to make these institutes as center of excellence. He made great efforts to get NBA, NAAC accreditation for these institutes. Dr Rafi has worked as a Consultant in a World Bank /Govt. of India under NPIU. He was instrumental to implement a prestigious project of Govt of India called TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Implement Programme). Dr Rafi has delivered talks and lectures at several institutes/organizations of National repute such as All India Radio, Doordarshan, Vigyan Prasar, Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Gyan Vani of IGNOU, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna etc. Dr Rafi was also nominated a Nodal Officer (A) for TEQIP III project of Govt of India in Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna.
