| About: | Banajit Pathak, is a contemporary Assamese poet, lyricist, story writer, script writer, author as well as a prominent editor from Bezera, Kamrup (R), Assam, India. His poems, stories, articles, reviews and research papers are widely published in many regional, national and international journals of repute, ezines, and anthologies and translated into different languages. Mr. Pathak’s short story “Iraranir Biya” became popular among the readers of many Assamese newspapers and magazines. His popular story Dipawalir Rati will be releasing shortly as a web-film. His important books are- Asomiya Bhasa Sikshonor Ruprekha (Author-2013), Samaj Sabhayta Sahitya Samanai (Edited-2017), Tranquil Night (Poetry Book- 2018) and four text books. Mr. Pathak has been honoured with Shree Bihari Vajpayee Award, 2018 for his outstanding work on Literature “Mewadev Loural Award, 2021” award for his contribution in Language and Literature. He has composed a popular Assamese web-film "Dipawalir Rati" in which he received Best Story Category Award from INDIE SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL, 2022 with his best Assamese song "Akash Neela Neela Xapoon". |
