| About: | Prof. Amrita Dhiman is a faculty member at the Development Management Institute with a cumulative experience of 15 years working in Industry, Government Administration, and now in Academics. She has been a Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellow (PMRDF) and a Post-Graduate (PG) in Agri-Business Management from VAMNICOM, Pune, with undergraduate (UG) study in Agriculture at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. She is a recipient of the Chancellor’s Gold medal and Gold Medal as Topper of the Batch at her UG and PG studies, respectively. Her research articles have been published in Invest & Harvest, & The Finapolis, The Hindu Business Line, EPW, and as book chapters. She played a key role in establishing the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Management (CoEDM) at the DMI and is now the Coordinator of the Centre. She is actively engaged in research, capacity building, consultancy, and education activities relating to Agriculture Marketing, Small Agri-Business, and Disaster Risk Reduction & Management. |
