Abstract:

This paper investigates advanced techniques for wind speed prediction to enhance wind energy optimization. Traditional methods face challenges due to wind variability, leading to the exploration of new approaches. One such approach combines LSTM neural networks with decision tree regressors. Comparative experiments demonstrate that this hybrid model outperforms other deep learning architectures and regression models, providing higher accuracy and reduced prediction errors. This research contributes to improving wind speed forecasting for more efficient utilization of wind energy in the expanding renewable energy sector.
