Abstract:
The field of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has witnessed significant growth and development over the years, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of energy consumption and minimizing communication overhead. This review explores the current state of research on optimizing energy consumption and communication overhead in WSNs, with a specific emphasis on various clustering techniques employed for achieving these objectives. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) play a pivotal role in numerous applications, ranging from environmental monitoring to industrial automation. This review critically examines the current landscape of research aimed at enhancing the performance of WSNs by optimizing energy consumption and minimizing communication overhead through diverse clustering techniques. In this paper we, review on optimizing energy consumption and communication overhead in wireless sensor networks on different clustering techniques.
