| About: | Dr. Sudha Mishra is a passionate and dedicated language and literature educator and a seasoned soft skills trainer with over 25 years of rich experience in teaching, research, and training across academia and industry. Presently, she is working as a Professor & HOD in the Department of English, School of Liberal Arts at XIM University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Dr. Mishra has experience teaching across all levels ranging from Ph. D, postgraduate, undergraduate, and school. She also has rich experience in language proficiency training in academia and industry. Her rich and extensive experience in institution building, teaching, consultancy, research, and training is reflected in her dynamic approach. Apart from English, she possesses equal linguistic prowess in Hindi and Sanskrit too. She has a staunch passion for research and has published over 25 research papers and book chapters. She has been invited as session chair and keynote speaker for several seminars and conferences. Her research interests include ELT, second language acquisition, learner motivation, and discourse analysis. Dr. Mishra is on the editorial and reviewer board of several International Journals and is the associate editor of a book on reforms in teaching. She is a member of several international and national professional bodies like the Dravidian Linguistic Association, the Linguistic Society of India, the International Society for Educational Leadership, the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language, and the English Language Teachers’ Association of India. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards and recognitions including the “Indo - Asian Aldous Leonard Distinguished Faculty Award in English Literature 2020”, “The Woman Researcher Award 2021” the “Global Faculty Award 2021” and three Best Research Paper Awards in journals and conferences. |
