| About: | Dr. Satish Kumar is currently working as a Professor and Dean, School of Commerce and Management, IIMT University, Meerut. He has more than 22 years of experience in the fields of academics, research, and industry. He has also worked as the IQAC coordinator at the IIMT university. Recently, he has received an award from IIMT University for his exemplary contribution in conducting IIC activities effectively and securing the highest four-star rating in IIC 2021–22 for the university as declared by MHRD, India. Recently, he was appointed as a member of the National Education Committee set up by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi, in January 2023. He is an alumnus of MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly having a doctorate in business administration. He completed his Master in Business Administration from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, and qualified for the NET in Management in 1998. He played a key role in initiating the Vidya International Journal of Management Research and was the chief coordinator of the AICTE-sponsored Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC). He is the recipient of the Best Teachers Award from the Confederation of Education Excellence, New Delhi (2014), the Best Teacher Award from the International Association of Lions Clubs, Lions Clubs of Meerut Industrial Estate, Meerut (2012), and the "Award of Excellence" from H.E. the Government of Haryana, Dr. A. R. Kidwai (2007). He has guided one doctoral candidate, and four doctoral scholars are working under him. He has published four patents, one copyright, two books, six chapters in various books, and more than 30 research papers in national and international journals of repute. He has attended various workshops on financial research at the IIM Kolkata and the IMT Ghaziabad. He is also a member of AIMA, AIMS, YJMA, and the Meerut Management Association.
