| About: | Dr. S. Sasikala Obtained her Doctoral degree from University of Madras. She has a teaching experience of more than 15 years. She has been the research guide to many Postgraduate and M.Phil students and guiding Ph.D research scholars. Her areas of interest include Psychological Research, Tool Development, Social Psychology, School Psychology and Community Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Development Psychology. Her passion for research has gained her the Best Researcher Award, 2017 awarded by the University of Madras. She has to her credit the Best Paper awards for the research paper presented during the International and National Conference. She is highly interested in the field of Psychometrics and has developed various tools including a tool on Perception of Parental Expectations and another one on Parental Involvement Inventory. She has published around 25 research articles in journals indexed in SCOPUS, UGC - Care, ProQuest and other peer reviewed journals over the span of her career. Besides, she had published empirical research work as chapters in books published by International and National Publishers. She has also engraved her name in the field of training by providing Social Skills Training, Life skills training, Study Skills Training, Self-esteem training, Emotional Management, etc., to both students and teachers of schools and colleges. Additional feather to her cap include being invited as resource person at the UGC-HRDC Centre and Educational institutions. She spends most of her time updating herself on the recent developments in the field of research and by contributing her share to the same |
