| About: | I was passionate about my subject since I was in secondary school and always fascinated to know how computer works. This passion leads me to pursue my career in the computer science. While I was doing my Bachelor degree in computer science, I worked as a part time tutor and taught younger children the usage of computer and different softwares such as Word document and Excel. This time of sharing knowledge developed the interest of teaching in me. Soon after completed my honor bachelor degree in computer Science, I was selected for the post of computer science lecturer in Chandigarh group of college, Landran. Along with my job, I successfully completed M.Tech in computer Science from Punjab Technical University, India. To develop my professional knowledge, I have attended Faculty development programs, Workshops, several seminars and short term Training courses. Then to share new knowledge and new developments with my colleagues, I have given presentations in front of my whole department, which are truly appreciated by all. The faculty development programs helped me to enhance academic and intellectual environment in my classroom. In addition to this, the participation in all these activities enabled me to develop my teaching and pedagogical skills to make my students quality graduates. |
