| About: | Dr. Mahesh Chougule has a distinguished teaching career of 27 years at D.K.T.E. society’s Textile and Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering. His native place is Kolhapur. He has completed his diploma from New polytechnic Kolhapur in 1992 securing first rank and best student award of the polytechnic. He acquired his B.E. Civil degree from K.I.T.’s college of engineering in 1995. He stood first in all successful candidates and secured Gold medal of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He completed his M.E. Civil from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli in 2001. He earned his doctorate in Civil Engineering from Solapur University in 2016. His research topic was “Recycling of wastewater in textile wet processing.” During his Ph.D. research cumulative impact factor of his journal paper publications was 55.57. He is recipient of Fellowship of Institution of Engineers (India) and life member of many technical bodies. He worked as an expert and representative of Shivaji University, Kolhapur on Building Construction Committee and supervised educational building projects. He has vast consultancy experience in civil and environmental engineering field. He has contributed his expertise in many public related construction projects. He is recipient of many prestigious awards as Late Nageshkar Memorial award, The Radha Madhav award, Principal C.G. Kale award, Best technical research paper award in Conference at Cochin University Kerala, Best Teacher awards by Textile & Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji. He has published 18 international journal papers in reputed journals and presented 40 international conference papers. He has published 5 international books. He has worked as adviser of students’ chapter of Institution of Engineers and conducted more than 100 technical programmes for student community. He is renowned invited key note speaker, referee and resource person in many technical events in Maharashtra |
