| About: | I Kamlesh K umar Yadav, have done B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. in the Biotechnology discipline. My Ph.D. was from the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Min. of Defence, Tezpur, Assam, India in the field of Midgut microbita based vector and vector-borne disease management. Currently, I am leading R&D at BioSoilz India Pvt. Ltd., Noida, for soil health and crop productivity. I am directly involved in the farmers agreement, field acquisition, field trial planning and implementation, etc. Apart from my core research work, I also oversee additional managerial activities such as facility development, the registration process, budget finalization, product commercialization, etc. Recently, I was leading the R&D team for one of the UK-based companies, Brandenburg Innovation Pvt. Ltd., on a variety of projects including: chemical-free novel approach for insect and pest management; Health and hygienic maintenance; sustainable approach for vector and vector-borne disease management; design and development of air purifiers and efficacy testing for various pathogens, IOP (Internet of Pest) sensor-based novel technology for monitoring the level of pest infestation etc. Before that, I was working as a research scientist in the Mahyco group of companies in Jalna, Maharashtra, India and was involved in the GM Mosquito (friendly mosquito) based mosquito population suppression project in collaboration with Oxitec, UK; Black Soldier Fly Mass Production: High protein content (47%), fatty acids, vitamins, minerals etc.; and promotion of sericulture by the involvement of various novel approaches. |
