| About: | Dr. K. Senthilkumar is an eminent academician and researcher in the management field. He was born in Erode. He graduated with a B.E. in mechanical engineering from the renowned GCT Govt. College of Technology, Coimbatore. Since he felt engineers with management skills could do better things, he studied business management too. He has received his post-graduation MBA from Adhiyamaan Engineering College. He has qualified for the state-level eligibility test conducted by Bharathiyaar University. Being an engineer with management ideas, he has conducted many kinds of research on small-scale industries and enterprises to reengineer them, and further, he has researched Sago entrepreneurs to revamp them. He has given many ideas to revamp the sago factories in the Salem region and got awarded a doctorate from Gandhigram University for the same. Dr. K. Senthilkumar has over twenty years of experience in academic and research areas. He started his career as a marketing engineer at United Co0ling Systems in Coimbatore. Due to his passion for teaching, he has shifted his career to academics and joined the Adyamaan Educational Research Institute. He worked as Head of the Department of Management at Jayalakshmi Institute of Technology, Thoppur. He has not confined himself to India. His service to society has been extended to Ethiopia too. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor in the MBA department of Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. His contributions to academia are excellent and highly remarkable. He has received many awards and appreciation for his academic excellence. He has won the Best Faculty Guide award for his excellent contribution towards placing students in the 2007 summer internship camp at ICFAI. He is a curriculum development member at Adigrat University. He was the editor of the newsletter SSK Cynosure. He has presented more than twenty papers at international conferences, and his research has been published in reputed intern |
