About: Dr. Hardeep Kaur is a Chemist with a strong background in physical chemistry, nanotechnology, Biochemistry, and inorganic chemistry. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. She completed her Graduation (B.Sc. Non-Medical) from Govt. College Ropar (affiliated to Panjabi University, Patiala); Master’s Degree in inorganic Chemistry from Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib and her PhD (Physical Chemistry – Synthesis of carbon and coinage metal based nanosensors for selective detection of pollutants) from Chandigarh University, Mohali, India. She has published many peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in reputed international/national journals and books chapter like Springer, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and Water, Air, & Soil Pollution, Results in Chemistry, Journal of Inorganic and Organometallic Polymers and Materials. She has received grant from DST funded project (Project Title: Low-cost eco-friendly Novel Carbon Based Nanosensors for Selected Heavy Metals and Pesticides) under Kiran Division WOS-B since 2021-2024. She had been awarded with different titles in International conferences. She had received “BHARAT RATNA Dr. RADHAKRISHNAN GOLD MEDAL AWARD” on 10th Oct 2020 presented by Global Economic Progress & Research Association in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Also, Best Young Scientist Award in Chemical Sciences associated of the 2nd International Conference on Advance Interdisciplinary Research (ICAIR-2023), Jointly organized by Digvijai Nath Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur, UP & Science Tech Institute, Lucknow, UP, India on April 9th, 2023 & Presented by MKSES Educational Society. She does research in Physical Chemistry, nanomaterials, Photochemistry, and nanosensors.
