| About: | Guptajit Pathak, M.A. (Triple: History, Pol. Science, Sociology), B.Ed, M. Phil, PGDEMA, is the former IQAC Co-ordinator and present Head, Department of History at Kanya Mahavidyalaya (Affiliated to Gauhati University), Geetanagar, Guwahati, Assam, India and an Academic Counsellor, IGNOU, Guwahati Regional Centre, Guwahati, Assam, India. He is an academician, trilingual poet, story writer, script writer, lyricist, author, translator, reviewer, resource person as well as a prominent editor. His poems, stories, articles, reviews and research papers are published in many regional, national and international journals of repute and ezines and translated into different languages. His areas of research are Socio-Economic, Political and Cultural History, Art History, Women History and Tribal Studies. Mr. Pathak has been honoured with “Outstanding Researcher in History” award for his contribution in historical research conferred by Global Outreach rd Research & Education Association in the 3 Global Outreach Research and Education Summit, on 31 July 2019 at Bengaluru and honoured the “Award for Historical Research” conferred by, Contemporary Literary Society of Amlor, Banda, U.P. India on 8 February, 2021. At present, he is a Doctoral Scholar in the Department of History, Assam University (Central) Silchar, India and has acted as a resource and invited person in many regional, national and international level workshops, seminars, webinars, conferences and Faculty Development Programmes. He has produced an Assamese Short Film “Dipawalir Rati” on October, 2022 and received National reputations. |
