| About: | Dr.V. SENTHUR VELMURUGAN is presently working as the Librarian and Head, Central Library & Department of Library and Information Science, KONGU ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (Autonomous), Erode, Tamilnadu India. He has around 16 years of professional experience in the field of Library and Information Science. He started his career as Library Assistant at Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi. He passed TNSET in the year 2018 and has been awarded a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science in the year 2019 from Madurai Kamaraj University. His areas of interest include Information and Communication Technology (ICT), User Studies, Bibliometric, and E-Resources. He has written more than 14 chapters in the textbooks of Library and Information Science and published 4 books and more than 33 research articles in national and international journals. He has presented more than 15 research papers in national and international conferences/seminars. He has attended more than 15 seminars workshops and training programmes. He has got three awards namely (Kamarajar Award, Noolaga Maamani Award, and National Best Librarian Award). |
