| About: | Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is currently working as Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist and imparting teaching, research, extension & clinical activities at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu, a premier Agricultural University of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, (Deemed University), Izatnagar, India is one of the premier national institutions in Veterinary and Animal Sciences worldwide. He also has qualified and received certificates of NET and IVRI ICAR-SRF (PGS) in Veterinary Pathology from ASRB, and ICAR, New Delhi, respectively. He has over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension education. He has extended his services as a specialist/consultant to the Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu) Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Dr. Rahman has been honored with a number of awards and recognitions for his contributions to the profession. He was Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, and Associated in a number of internally & externally funded projects. He has guided 06 MVSc and has been a member of the Advisory Committee for MVSc and Ph.D. students in different disciplines. He is serving his duties as Member Editorial Board in Veterinary Research Journal, International Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, International Journal of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Acta Scientific Veterinary Sciences, and Reviewer in Journals such as Journal of Animal Research, Journal of Parasitic Diseases, Acta Scientific Veterinary Sciences (ASVS), Human & Experimental Toxicology and Asian Journal of Research in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. He is a member of several committees at the University & Government levels and a life member of many Professional Societies.
