About: I bring 9+ years of bench work research experience in molecular biological techniques along with 4 years of teaching expertise. I am a subject matter expert in undertaking multi-faceted research procedures in compliance with established regulatory guidelines and protocols. As an articulate communicator, I actively engage with senior management and service providers to elicit key requirements and adapt strategies accordingly. The focus of my career to date has been on performing comprehensive research in the field of fish health, molecular biology, immunology as well as microbiology and sharing key research outcomes with broader audiences through numerous manuscripts and articles in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in manuals and e-magazines. Moreover, I have demonstrated my capacity to work together with senior management and peers while placing a high premium on accomplishing research, cost, and timeliness objectives while maintaining high quality standards. Major Strengths: • Fully accustomed with molecular and immunological techniques including nucleic acid isolation and cloning techniques, PCR (Conventional and Real-time PCR), immunoassays, bacteriology, enzyme assays, gene expression, microscopy and basic bioinformatics along with analysis of data by using statistical tool like SPSS. • Accredited Editor and Reviewer; recognised for contributing actively to peer-review process of scientific journals, publishing manuscripts and articles in peer-reviewed journals, and authoring chapters for manuals and e-magazines. • Proficient in leading research at the multi-institutional level, teaching comprehensive courses for under-graduate and post-graduate programmes, and advising students in multi-faceted research procedures. • Equipped with analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting demands, shifting needs, and emergent issues.
