| About: | I completed my PhD from Panjab University, Chandigarh, a premier institution known for its excellence in research and education. In July 2011, I embarked on my academic career by joining JCDAV College, where I served as a faculty member for nearly nine years, until January 15, 2020. During my tenure at JCDAV College, I was actively involved in teaching, research, and mentoring students. In 2020, I transitioned to the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, a shift that allowed me to further enhance my research profile and collaborate on a larger scale.My areas of specialization include: Aquatic Biology, Fishery, Probiotics, Metagenomics, Aquatic Productivity and Omics I have authored and co-authored 50 papers published in reputed, peer-reviewed journals. In addition to my published work, I have been granted two patents, which underscore my focus on translating scientific research into practical applications. Currently, I am actively leading three major research projects funded by prestigious institutions: 1. AYUSH Project 2. State Biodiversity Project – 3. Wildlife Forest Department Project – I have supervised 25 M.Sc. students during their dissertation projects, guiding them through the process of scientific inquiry, data analysis, and thesis preparation. Presently, I am supervising 4 PhD students, who are conducting advanced research in areas aligned with my expertise. |
