| About: | Dr. R. Sivaraman, currently working as Associate Professor of Mathematics at Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, Chennai has 23 years of teaching experience. His areas of interests are Number Theory, Mathematical Analysis and Applied Mathematics. He has published more than 120 research papers including 17 Scopus indexed, 20 UGC CARE and 15 Web of Science indexed in various National and International Journals. He has provided several Plenary and invited talks at National and International Conferences. He has guided seven students successfully for their M.Phil. degree and currently guiding six Ph.D. research scholars. He is reviewer/member of Editorial Board for Twelve National and International including Scopus/UGC CARE and Web of Science indexed Journals in Mathematics. He has been involved as resource person in training teachers appointed by Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), RMSA and SSA. He has completed Post Doctoral Fellowship at British National University of Queen Mary, UK & USA and obtained Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Degree from California Public University, USA. He secured All India 27th Rank in the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) Exam conducted by IIT Madras with a percentile score of 96.3 in 1997 and has qualified in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) as well as NET combined category conducted by CSIR in 1999. He has been conferred with National Award for Popularizing mathematics among masses in 2016 by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. He was conferred with the prestigious Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Teaching award for the year 2018. This award is the greatest recognition for a teacher working in College/University throughout India. He has also received two State Government Best Book Awards in Science for consecutive years 2011 and 2012 given by Tamizh Valarchithurai, Government of Tamil Nadu.
