Singla, during his academic period of more than 29 years has made outstanding contributions in research, education & extension activities on tropical parasitic diseases by way of their improved diagnosis and control with the ultimate aim to enhance the socio-economic status of the society. • His contributions to animal research are reflected not only by his reputed published work with noteworthy number of citations (3002), h-index (30), i10-index(90) • Dr. Singla not actively participated in a significant number of international scientific events abroad but also provided guidance to international scholars and scientists from Sudan, Guinea, Egypt, Libya and Botswana, besides national scholars • He is doing editorial work as Chief Editor, Associate chief editor, Academic editor and editorial board member of a number of journals of international repute. • For his excellent academic services, he has been conferred with numerous prestigious honors and awards including M.S Randhawa Medal (PAU), Prof. Dr. B.V. Rao Gold Medal by Indian Veterinary Association, • Dr. D.P. Banerjee Memorial Oration Award and Smt.
