| About: | Dr. Janhavi Ashish Arekar, Ph. D., is an Asst. Prof. and Head, Department of Botany at Smt. Devkiba Mohansinhji Chauhan College of Commerce & Science, Silvassa- DNH & DD, India affiliated to University of Mumbai. In 2021 she has appointed as coordinator of Faculty of Science and IQAC. She has received the Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Botany from University of Mumbai. In 2007 she awarded Doctorate of Philosophy in Botany from University of Mumbai. She has had an active interest in graduate and post graduate education in the field of Botany, Plant Biotechnology, Ethnobotany and Parmacognocy. She worked as research expert and resource person in various training program for professionals and students in ‘Industrial setup for Plant Tissue Culture and Green House Technology’ arranged by Small Scale Industrial Association training centre, Mumbai. She is active as an editorial board member in various national and international journals. She has contributed many research publications in various journals. In 2020 she has received ‘Young Scientist Research Award’ for research paper on plant tissue culture: Invitro regeneration of Momordica dioica, by Institute of Scholars, IAC, UASL. |
