| About: | My name is Dr Alaa, a lecturer at Aliraqia University. I teach English literature to undergraduate students along with being a researcher, research guide, and college reviewer. I have a BA from Baghdad University/ Iraq 2006; an MA in English literature from Pune University/ India; and last but not least, a PhD in African American contemporary fiction from Bangor University/ UK 2020. My research focus is mainly on, but not excluded, African American fiction, identity in literature, transculturalism, and diaspora. |
