| About: | Dr. Mossa obtained his Ph.D. degree from Alexandria University in the field of pesticide toxicology "Genotoxicity of Pesticides" in 2004. Dr. Mossa research interest includes mammalian toxicology, evaluating risks and hazards of environmental toxicants, detoxification, environmental remediation approaches, green pesticides, nanoformulations, nanopesticides and bioassay-guided fractionation (BGF) for investigating botanical monitoring of toxic living organisms. He is the leader of the Pesticides and environmental toxicology research area at NRC. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as NRC award of research output 2011,2012,2013,2014. He is the PI of several projects funded from the National Research Centre, Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) and Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT). He is a Scientific consultant of one international company, adjunct Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore University, India and French Biotechnology Engineering School, Paris, France. He is a coordinator of the Egyptian committee of toxicology and a member of the Egyptian Society of Toxicology, the Egyptian Society of Chemistry, and the Arabic Society of Medicine Research. He is an editorial member and reviewer in different reputed journals. Organizes several International and National Conferences and workshops. |
