Elevated ICP can lead to severe complications, including cerebral herniation and neurological deterioration, necessitating prompt diagnosis and intervention. Traditional methods for measuring ICP involve invasive procedures, such as inserting intracranial probes or performing lumbar punctures, which carry inherent risks and limitations. Non-invasive techniques offer a safer and more patient-friendly approach to ICP monitoring, reducing the need for invasive interventions and improving patient comfort and compliance.
