Abstract:

This research paper presents a deep learning approach for the classification of bee and wasp prediction using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). The study leverages a dataset sourced from Kaggle, focusing on high-quality images of bees and wasps. The proposed model is trained to discern between the two species, contributing to the field of insect classification with potential applications in biodiversity monitoring and pest control. The research incorporates data preprocessing, model development, and extensive evaluations, including real-time predictions from a webcam feed. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model in accurately classifying bee and wasp species, showcasing its potential for practical deployment in various ecological and agricultural contexts.
