| About: | I am an Assistant Professor of International Relations at School of Social Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (Punjab) with a teaching experience of 3 years. My thrust area of research is International Relations with PhD on the topic “Indo-US Nuclear and Defence Cooperation (2000-2020): A Study of Indian and US Legislature”. I completed my graduation in BA (Hons.) Social Sciences from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and did my Masters in Politics with specialisation in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and I am a Double Gold Medalist with distinction in both UG & PG. I have presented papers in various Regional/State/National/International Conferences and Seminars and I have 8 publications in my name including articles (in UGC-CARE listed journals and peer/reviewed journals) and 1 book chapter in the edited volume “India’s Foreign Policy: Continuity and Change”. I have been one of the coordinators for Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) Sponsored Two-Day National Seminar on the theme “China and South Asia & Southeast Asia: Implications for India” organised by GNDU, Amritsar from 27-28th August, 2021. I have also been the Subject Expert for 3 Social Impact Assessment projects for Land acquisition under Punjab Government and have contributed chapters for Reports regarding the same. I have been part of Internships with Ministry of External Affairs (GOI), ORF and IDSA and have been actively involved with Think Tanks like Students for Liberty and Centre for Civil Society as Local Coordinator. I have also been a participant in various Refresher Courses on Humanities and Research Methodology organised by HRDC, GNDU. My teaching modules include India’s Foreign Policy, IR Theory and Thinkers, Diplomacy, Politics of Central Asia, South Asia and West Asia. |
