About:	Assistant professor Risto Uzunov graduated at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, R.N. Macedonia in 2009. At 2013 he started with PhD study in the study program Food Safety at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He defended his doctoral dissertation „ Multiresidue analysis of ?-agonists in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS method “ in 2019. Since 2009, he worked at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-Skopje, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, R.N. Macedonia. Currently is assistant professor. Research area: Food safety and quality, Food chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chromatography, Veterinary drugs. He works at development and validation of the analytical methods for detection of residues and contaminants in food, additives in food, fatty acids composition in food, sugars etc. with the following techniques: GC-FID, GC-MSD, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, ELISA. He has participated in 10 international and national research projects. Also, he has published around 160 research articles in scientific Journals, Proceedings from Conference, Book of abstracts etc. He was member of Member of the Secretariat on the International Scientific Meeting Days of Veterinary Medicine (2016 and 2018), Member of the Scientific Board of the 4th International Conference on Food and Biosystems Engineering (FaBE) (2019), Member of Scientific Committee on Second International Congress on Biological and Health Sciences (2022), Member of Local Organizing Committee of 9th International Scientific Meeting Days of Veterinary Medicine (2022). He is reviewer in few scientific journals from the area: food safety and veterinary medicine.
