| About: | Prof. Arup Barman is serving as a faculty member, since 1998 at the Dept. of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar (Assam). Prof Barman is M Com-Mgt (1996), PGDipT&D (2002), PhD in Management (2007), Post Doctorate (2009-2011) on HRD Collaboration in India and South-East Asian Nations under GOI fellowship. He is a D.Litt. (Honoris Causa-on the Works for the Contemporary Mgt. in the Year 2021) conferred by International Internship University (IIU). Beyond academics, Professor Barman completed 30 numbers of Professional Certificates in different areas of management and research. He has 225 numbers of Research Papers published in International journals, attended 68 numbers of international seminars and delivered more 400 hours of lectures as the resource person in different workshops, symposia, seminars and invited speeches. He guided and awarded 14 numbers of PhD scholars and examined 35 numbers of theses for Universities in India and abroad. Barman offered editorial review work for 45 articles for International Journals of Elsevier, Willey, Sage, Indiana etc. He is member 20 numbers of review and technical boards of International Journals of Repute. Prof. Barman is a prolific thinker and speaker on leadership evidenced by the holding joint Copyright for Heterodox Leadership Theories and delivered more than 3 dozens of Lectures on Future Leadership (Concept and Practice). As a professional, he is an Accredited Management Professional (AMT-2008), by AIMA & AICTE. He is an accredited professional in Contemporary Management by American Merit Council (AMC). Professor Barman is enlisted as one of the Top 20 Thought Leaders in Higher Education for the year 2021, Recognised by the ULoctz Wall of Fame for 2021.
