| About: | P.Umamaheswarrao obtained his M.Tech in Energy Systems Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamilnadu. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has published 12 Journal articles, 9 conference proceedings, and 1 book chapter, co-authored 7 Journal articles, 28 conference proceedings, and 2 book chapters. Won the best paper award in 3rd International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing & Automation (INCAMA 2018) organized by School of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil during April 2018. He also attended 26 offline and 27 online faculty development programs in various institutions. He received a letter of appreciation for best teaching during the 2011-12, 2020-2021, 2022-2023 academic years and also received the best teacher award during 2019-20 from Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, India. Presented research papers in various premier institutes such as IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIITDM Kancheepuram, MANIT Bhopal, SVNIT Surat, Anna university and Southkorea. His research interest includes hard turning, friction stir welding, metal matrix composites and optimization of manufacturing processes. His Scopus h-index is 7 with 176 citations. Acting as an Editorial board member for Acta Mechanica Malaysia (AMM) Journal & PriMera Scientific Engineering (PSEN) journal. He is also acting as reviewer for International Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing (Springer), Materials today proceedings (Elsevier), Key Engineering Materials (Transtech Publications, Switzerland) and Materials Science Forum (Transtech Publications, Switzerland). |
