| About: | Science has always captivated me, and I still find it fascinating how it uses many different aspects to work together for a person’s welfare. I entered the National Research Centre of Egypt because of my enthusiasm growing up (NRC). Since 2006, I have worked as a researcher in the pharmacology department of the National Research Centre (NRC) medical division. I was responsible for conducting preclinical research on experimental animals to prevent or treat prevailing diseases in Egypt. Although I investigated diabetes, liver diseases, cognitive impairment, iron toxicity, epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, and inflammatory disease, my research focused on repurposing therapeutic and transitional research aspects. My passion for pharmacology has driven me to discover the possible drug targets in every study. I was honored to win the best master’s thesis in my field. As a further step, I continued my research with Dr. Mostafa El Sayed on assessing Nano-golds toxicological and pharmacological effects as a potential candidate in cancer therapy in collaboration with the Georgia institute of technology in the USA. Additionally, I contributed to many clinical trials as a co-pi, member, and statistician. Nevertheless, I participated in preclinical and clinical projects to develop the first Egyptian vaccine for COVID-19 and discover new possible treatments for COVID-19. In addition, I actively participated in laboratory tasks, significantly contributing to developing and implementing the “ISO 14001 and ISO 45001” besides my role as an ISO auditor of the medical division. Moreover, I have worked in the Pharmacology research unit since 2006 till now. I worked in the center of excellence in the National Research Centre as a nutritionist and associated Clinical Pharmacist. Moreover, I have worked as a plagiarism coordinator in National Research Centers medical division. I have an excellent command of English, professional computer skills, and statistic skills. |
