| About: | Nirmala College for Women (Autonomous) is a prestigious institution of higher learning which aims at the emancipation of young Women. Established in 1948, the College has enriched in all the spheres over the years, accredited with ‘A’ grade from NAAC in the 3rd cycle with CGPA 3.62. The College has taken many initiatives for strengthening research and innovations by establishing a research committee which is instrumental in bringing out the intellectual aptitude of women and thus empowering them to face the challenges of the present day. As a Librarian and head of the PG and Research department of Library and Information Science I have published 19 research articles, attended 44 seminars and workshops, organized 13 seminars/ workshops and also organized two ICSSR sponsored national and International symposium and conference. Four candidates are doing Ph.D. research work under my supervision. |
