| About: | I am a registered candidate engineering technologist of the Engineering Council of South Africa. I am employed as Lecturer at the Durban University of Technology. As Lecturer, I keep up to date with the latest changes to courses and examinations through recently published manuscripts and books. In addition, I have taught various subjects within the chemical engineering field for seven years to undergraduate and postgraduate-level students. Furthermore, I have supervised and mentored in-service training for undergraduate and postgraduate students. My research interests include mining, industrial wastewater treatment, membrane bioreactors, acid mine drainage, water resources (surface and groundwater), and geohydrology. I have also collaborated with various companies while doing my research, including the municipalities, government departments and mining companies. I collaborated with acclaimed researchers in South Africa, Germany, and France. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I have served in various positions in the value chain of the chemical engineering industry (>10 yrs.), with industrial experience in mineral beneficiation, general management, and marketing). |
