| About: | Dr. Sajad Ahmad Mir is presently pursuing an ICCSR-post-doctoral fellowship in the School of Education, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. He has taught Education discipline as a Lecturer (C) in the Department of School Education and as Assistant Professor in the Department of Higher Education, J&K Government. He has also served the Central University of Kashmir, MANUU-CTE Srinagar, and Cluster University of Kashmir as an Assistant Professor (C). Besides teaching, he is a resource person for a number of higher educational institutions. He did his M.A. (English) from MANUU Hyderabad, M.A. (Education) from IGNOU, M.Sc. (Ecology & Environment) from SMU, M.Ed. from the University of Kashmir, M.Phil. from Lovely Professional University, PGDHE from IGNOU, DCA from DOEACC and DUL from NCPUL. He has been awarded as the first Ph.D. candidate from the School of Education, Central University of Kashmir in the year 2019 and the only candidate from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh selected for ICSSR-PDF 2021-22 in education discipline. He also qualified for NET (Education). Dr Mir has a good number of research papers and two books to his credit. Apart from presenting papers at various national and international conferences, he has participated in multiple research-oriented workshops and faculty development programmes. He is also the recipient of the Best Paper Presentation Award at an international conference held at NIT, Srinagar and the Award of Excellence in Research for his contribution in the field of Education. |
