| About: | PROFILE Dr K Nirmalkumar obtained his B.E (Civil Engineering) from the Bharathiyar University in 2000, M.E (Structural Engineering) from the Annamalai University in 2001 and Ph.D (Civil Engineering) from the Anna University, Chennai in 2009, M.B.A from the Periyar University in 2013 and M.A (Psychology) from the Periyar University in 2018. At present he is working as a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Kongu Engineering College & earlier held the post of Campus Officer of KVIT Trust, Perundurai, Erode from Dec. 2019 to Aug. 2020. He was recipient of “P. K Das Memorial Best Faculty Award – Senior Category†for the year 2019 from Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore, “Best Professor of the Year 2015†from Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties, Pondicherry, “Young Scientist Award†for the year 2015-16 from Venus International Foundation, Chennai, “Kongu Engineering College – Cognizant Best Faculty Award for Outstanding Performance†for the year 2014-15, “IEI Young Engineers Award†for the year 2014-15 from Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkatta, “Career Award for Young Teachers†for the year 2011-12 from AICTE, New Delhi, “P. K Das Memorial Best Faculty Award – Junior Category†for the year 2011 from Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore and “Kongu Engineering College - Best Staff Award in Civil Engineering†for the year 2010-11. He had been recognized in ‘Bronze Category’ for the year 2016-17, 2017-18 & 2018-19 by Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi. He had published 135 technical publications in various reputed International and National, Journals and Conferences in diversified areas and published 9 Chapter’s in the text book ‘Advances in Civil Engineering Vol. – 3, 5, 6 & 7’.
