| About: | Dr. Govind P. Shinde is Director and Professor of Marketing & Finance at H.K. Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai. He has Ph.D. in Management Science, M.Com in Costing and Taxation, MBA in Marketing Management and also has done Government Diploma in Co-Operation and Accountancy. He has a rich academic and Administrative experience of 25 years. He has worked as I/c Director and I/c Principal in MGMCCSIT Navi Mumbai and has served the organization for 9 years. He has worked in Bharati Vidyapeeth’s IMSR, Navi Mumbai for 12 years and has taught the courses like MMS, MMM, MFM, MHRDM, BBA and BCA. He also has worked as a Professor in Maratha Mandir’s BGIMS Mumbai. He has presented and published more than 65 research papers in various national and international conferences, seminars and reputed and referred national and international Journals, Scopus, Web of science, UGC Care listed Journals. He is a Research Guide and has guided 6 Ph. D students in Finance, Marketing specializations and General Management, under his able guidance 5 students have got Ph.D. awarded. He has published 6 Books related to Management Stream. He has been awarded by Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune for his achievement in academics during the year 2010 Excellence in teaching award, by IEDRA Delhi for excellence in Indian education in 2012 and by ISCM Maharashtra as best professor in Management during the year 2013. He is on the editorial board of various reputed and referred national and international Journals. He is also a member of Various Professional associations in commerce and Management. His few research papers have got best papers awards in conferences. He is subject expert for the University CAS, Teachers appointment. He is on various bodies of University of Mumbai as a Member. |
