| About: | Dr. Dasari. Prasanna, is currently working as an Asst. Professor, at Government Degree College for women (A) Begumpet, Hyderabad. She obtained a Masters degree and was awarded a Doctorate degree from Osmania University. She acquired a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (APEL) and also qualified the State Level Eligibility test (APPSC). She is selected and appointed by APPSC (Procs. Rc.No. 13255/A3/2002, dated 12-03-2007) as Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO - Group –I cadre) and selected appointed as Executive Officer in PanchayatRaj department for Rural Development (Group –II cadre) by APPSC CPR&RE Hyderabad (Proc. Rc.No.1/021/CPR-B3/03, dated 26-02-2005). She has published 6 research papers in international and 1 in national journal and contributed papers in conference proceedings and books. In addition to the above, she has also published YouTube video lessons and power point presentations on slide share website, attended orientation and refresher courses conducted by various universities and also deliberated extension lectures. She is a member board of studies and a paper setter for autonomous colleges in Telangana. She served as a member of the editorial committee, has Co-authored two books to her credit, one of them is a text book on “Recent trends in Aqua culture†is a reference book for the students of Aquaculture. Appreciated and awarded best teacher award by TSUFF (Telangana State United Teachers Federation) Gajwel, She has been rendered services at different levels as N.S.S. Program Officer, Coordinator to Student career guidance cell, head department of zoology, Student council Coordinator. Life member Indian Journal of Sericulture and Fellow Member in The Society of Entomology and Zoology Research and entitled F.S.E.Z.R.
