About:	Biography Dr. C. Mythili, Ph.D., SET Assistant Professor, Department of Economics Dr. C. Mythili is an experienced academician and researcher in the field of Economics, holding a Ph.D. in Economics and State Eligibility Test (SET) qualification from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She has over Nine years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with expertise in teaching core and applied areas of Economics. Her areas of specialization include Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Econometrics, Resource and Tribal Economics, Behavioral Economics, Managerial Economics, Monetary Economics, Export Management, and Research Methodology. Her research primarily focuses on sustainable development, common property forest resources, tribal livelihoods, environmental conservation, women's empowerment, rural development, and public policy. Dr. Mythili has published 15 research papers and book chapters in reputed national and international journals and edited volumes. She has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences and has actively participated in faculty development programmes, workshops, and seminars on research methodology, quantitative techniques, economic policy, and higher education. She has served as Assistant Professor of Economics at Providence College for Women, Coonoor, and Subiramaniya College of Arts and Science, Palani, where she contributed significantly to teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and institutional administration. She has also been recognized as a Research Guide for Ph.D. programme and has supervised postgraduate research projects.
