| About: | Dr Basavanna M received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, Mysore in 1996, M.Sc. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, Mysore in 1999 and M.Phil. Degree from the Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India in 2007. Ph.D. in Computer Science from VELS University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2013 under the guidance of Dr. S. K Srivatsa. From 1999, he was a Lecturer in Computer Science, and became Assistant Professor in 2009 in the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka, India. He has published more than 32 research papers in various National and International Journals and conferences and published 05 books. He is a Life Member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata-India. Presently he is working as Associate Professor, Department of Studies in Computer Science, Davangere University, Shivagangotri, Davangere-577002, Karnataka, India. His research interests include digital image processing, pattern recognition, AI and scene text analysis. |
