| About: | Dr Avula Srinivas was born in an agricultural family on 30 th August 1978 at Kondur, Warangal (Dist.). In 1998 he graduated from CKM Arts and Science College, Warangal, Kakatiya University. His Masters degree in Chemistry was obtained in 2001 followed by doctoral degree in 2010, from Kakatiya University, Warangal. He joined in 2001 as a faculty in Vaagdevi Degree and PG College and is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry. He also held a Post-doctoral position at CSIR -IICT, Hyderabad as a CSIR Research Associate from 2011-2014. He is involved in teaching Post-Graduates for the past 18 years. His able teaching and guidance helped several students in their settlement, India and abroad. He is also actively involved in research and has published 30 research papers in International and National peer reviewed journals with high impact factor, also presented 20 research articles in International and National conferences and some of his papers selected as best paper presentations in National and International conferences. Presently 01 research scholar is working for their Ph. D. degree under his guidance. He has completed 03 research projects sponsored by CSIR –New Delihi and Research Innovation circle of Hyderabad, Telangana. His research interest includes Design synthesis of structurally and biologically interesting organic molecules, Peptides, Marine Natural products. He has research collaborations with IICT, Hyderabad, RICH-HYD, CIPET-HYD, and completed several research programs successfully. His technical innovations include: Design synthesis of new and potent bis-heterocyclics as Nematicidal, Antimycobacterial, COX-2 selective inhibitors and Marine natural products, Glycosides, Macrocycles and Antiviral agents. He is an editorial board member of various journals, and holds membership in many organizations like Indian science congress, American chemical society, Indian red cross society delivered invited lectures in different FDPs and Orientation programme |
