| About: | Dr. Khare is a professor with the Department of Fashion Technology at NIFT, Mumbai, India. He has more than 35 years of industry and academic experience. A doctorate in Statistics, he attended a fellowship program at Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, in Apparel Production Management and a specialized course on Sewability of fine fabrics with Juki Corporation, Japan. 03 scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under him and another 03 are pursuing. Dr. Khare has travelled wide and presented papers in national and international conferences, seminars, workshops and guided over 100 post-graduate level research projects. His interest areas include the application of technology in apparel manufacturing, Sustainability, Green Manufacturing, improving efficiency of the fashion supply chain. |
