Abstract:
Over the Counter drugs are medicines taken by consumer without a prescription from health care professionals. And the incidence of usage of Over the Counter drugs is drastically increasing day by day.Self-Medication has traditionally has been defined as The taking of drugs, Herbs or home remedies on ones own initiative, or on the advice of another person, without consulting a doctor". In India, it is very common to see self-medication practice and which is an emerging challenge to health care providers.
