| About: | Dr.D.Gowrisankar is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of English, K.S.R College of Engineering. His education qualifications are Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. He completed Bachelor of Education at Sri Ramakrishna College of Education, Coimbatore. He received his Post Graduation degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has submitted Master of Philosophy at Anna University, Gundy campus, Chennai. He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy at Vellore Institute of Technology from VIT - University, Chennai. Work Experience He worked as an Assistant Professor of English at Vel Tech College of Engineering, Chennai. He was also served as a Research Associate and assisted in communication skills laboratory classes for B.Tech and M.Tech Engineering students in VIT. Positions Held He served in organizing committee for various International Conferences and Workshops organized by Department of English, Bharathiar University and VIT-Chennai. He was an editor of proceedings and organizing committee in the International Conference on English and Foreign Languages Teaching 2019, VIT University, Chennai. His areas of interests are Literature, English Language Teaching, Education Counseling Psychology, and Soft Skills. He also gives placement training to the Engineering students. He has published several papers in National and Scopus indexed journals. He has participated in numerous seminars, FDP and training courses. He has presented paper in seminars at far-fetched places such as Petra Christian University, Indonesia and University of Macau, China. |
