Abstract:
The construction of residential and commercial buildings is causing the world to develop rapidly. A shortage of natural resources is caused by the use of concrete. In order to partially replace cement, silica fume is added as an additive at varying percentages of 5%, 7.5%, and 12.5%. Concrete’s strength properties are improved with the use of polypropylene fibres. 0.5%, 1.5%, and 2.0% of polypropylene fibres are added to concrete. At 7 and 28 days, the test results were obtained in relation to split and compressive tensile strength.
