Abstract:
His study investigates the effects of thermal radiation on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free-convection flow past an impulsively started infinite isothermal vertical plate. The fluid is assumed to be viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting, and subjected to a uniform transverse magnetic field. The governing equations describing momentum and energy transport are formulated as coupled, nonlinear partial differential equations. Thermal radiation effects are incorporated into the energy equation using the Rosseland diffusion approximation.
