Abstract: This study determined the practices, innovation strategies and challenges in the implementation of Basic Education – Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan (BE-LRCP) in the Secondary Schools, Schools Division of Iloilo Province, Philippines for School Year 2022-2023. The respondents were the 167 purposively chosen secondary School heads in the Schools Division of Iloilo. The dependent variables were the practices, innovation strategies and challenges in the implementation of Basic Education – Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan (BE-LRCP) while the independent variables were age, educational attainment, position, length of service and performance rating. The data were gathered using questionnaire on practices, innovation strategies and challenges devised by the researcher duly validated and reliability tested. The descriptive research design was employed in this study and the statistical tools used were frequency, percentage, rank, chi-square and Phi-Cramer’s V. Findings revealed that in the implementation of the Basic Education – Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan in the Schools Division of Iloilo for School Year 2022-2023, adherence to the requirements set by the Curriculum and Implementation division to ensure that the program both educational and relevant was mostly practiced; innovation strategies focused on the learners’ safety, nutrition and access to water, sanitation, and hygiene; mostly encountered challenges on inadequate classrooms, laboratory and other physical facilities: there were no significant differences in the practices and innovation strategies employed as assessed by the school heads when classified according to age, educational attainment, position, length of service and performance rating; there were significant differences in the challenges encountered as assessed by the school heads when classified according to age and performance rating but not significant in terms of their educational attainment, position and length of service. Finally, a significant relationship existed between practices and innovation strategies; but not significant between practices and challenges and innovation strategies and challenges.
